Planning Committee

That the agenda be approved.

That the minutes of Planning Committee Meeting Number 2025-07, held Thursday, April 3, 2025 be approved.

That the Planning Committee recommends to Council: That the applications for Official Plan and zoning by-law amendments and draft plan of subdivision (File Number D35-007-2024) submitted by Taggart Group of Companies and Fotenn Consultants Inc., on behalf of Taggart (Gardiners) Corporation, for the property municipally known as 700 Gardiners Road (West Village Subdivision – Phase 8), be approved ; and That the City of Kingston Official Plan, as amended, be further amended, Amendment Number 100, as per Exhibit A, (Draft By-Law and Schedule A to Amend the Official Plan) to Report Number PC-25-011; and That Kingston Zoning By-Law Number 2022-62, as amended, be further amended, as per Exhibit B (Draft By-Law and Schedule A to Amend Zoning By-Law Number 2022-62) to Report Number PC-25-011, and that Exhibit B be amended to replace the Schedule C2 Holding Overlay map with an updated map; and That the draft plan of subdivision be subject to the conditions as per Exhibit C (Draft Plan of Subdivision Conditions) to Report Number PC-25-011; and That Council determines that in accordance with Section 34(17) of the Planning Act, no further notice is required prior to the passage of the by-law; and That the amending by-law be presented to Council for all three readings.

That Exhibit B be amended by replacing the Schedule C2 Holding Overlay map with an updated map.

That the meeting of the Planning Committee be adjourned at 7:42 p.m.
