Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee

That Aimee Burtch be elected the Chair of the Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee.

That Janice Wilby be elected the Vice-Chair of the Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee.

That the agenda be amended to include the addendum, and as amended, be approved.

That the Minutes of the Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee Meeting Number 04-2022 held November 3, 2022 be approved.

That the Municipal Advisory Committee recommend to Council: That Council approve the 2023 Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee Work Plan, attached as Exhibit A to Report Number MAAC-23-001.

That Aimee Burtch, Andrea Fitzgerald and Darcy King McKay be appointed to the Awareness & Education Working Group for a term expiring on November 30, 2023.

That Lucie Moussu, Caitlin Bruce, Kim Atwood, Susan Mockler and Janice Wilby be appointed to the Built Environment Working Group for a term expiring on November 30, 2023.

That the following members of MAAC be appointed to the respective project teams: • 100 Foot Park and Point Crescent Open Space Improvements: Aldo Ramirez and Aimee Burtch; • City Hall Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler System: Janice Wilby and Kim Atwood; • Accessible Parking: Lucie Moussu and Nikolas Tolgyesi; • Active Transportation Projects: Susan Mockler and Kim Atwood; • Transit Stations: Andrea Fitzgerald; • Improved Pathway Connection Behind Providence Continuing Care: Darcy King McKay; and • Kirkpatrick Fountain Improvements: Aimee Burtch and Emily Bennett.

That Susan Mockler be appointed as the MAAC representative to the North King’s Town Secondary Plan Community Working Group for a term ending December 31, 2023.

That the meeting of the Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee adjourn at 1:54 p.m.
